Commuter Club Reveals Fresh Look with Same Great Services
Transportation Management Association Offers Commute Alternatives
ATLANTA, October 31, 2007 — Ever sat in Atlanta traffic and thought, “There has to be a better way?” There is. And now, there is a better way to learn about your commuting options.
Commuter Club has launched a newly redesigned Web site (www.commuterclub.com) to better serve its participants. Charged with helping individuals and businesses in the Cumberland Galleria area, Commuter Club offers free assistance with vanpool, carpool, telework and flextime programs.
“Our Web site provides information on services for individuals and businesses, offering ways to reduce stress, save money and benefit the environment,” said Ginny Rainey, executive director of Commuter Club. “Whether you live in Marietta, Fayetteville, Conyers or anywhere else in the metro area, we can tailor a program that fits your schedule.”
In its eleventh year, Commuter Club boasts the largest vanpool fleet in the country, with 89 vans traveling from 16 metro Atlanta counties, all the way from Henry to Pickens County. The organization is on track for another successful year, encouraging its more than 800 participants and all other commuters, to improve their quality of life by rethinking their solo commutes in Atlanta’s traffic.
